My new to me '04 R1150RT is taller than my '96 R1100R. I am planning on a custom seat for comfort but would also like something that lets me get more of my feet on the ground. I have a 29" inseam. I have a Corbin on my R, which is better than stock but not as comfortable as I would like. Also, it resulted in a taller position than the stock R seat. I tested an '03 RT with a Corbin, and it didn't seem securely fastened. I could move it side to side. Thus, I don't want a Corbin. Any recommendations? I note that Sagrent lists a low option on their site. I also would prefer not to send my stock seat off to be redone, although trading it after I get a new one would be acceptable. Finally, how do you feel about leather vs vinyl? The Corbin is leather, but I have no experience with vinyl except for the current stock seat on the RT.

I have been real happy with my Sargent and I did not need to send off my seat as they include the pan in the price.

I had similar concerns because of my height and went with Rick Mayer. No regrets. I can now flat foot when stopped on my 02 RT.

I went with the seat pan exchange and lost ZERO days riding.
