I am new to this forum but there are not too many posts from my part of the world so I though I'd submit this thread.
Since I am now the proud owner of a new GS, I can extend my riding season longer than in previous years. This weekend I think mother nature told us summer was over and it was her turn to take over. Saturday we had the last official abate run of the season. Nothing long but the weather was great, 70's all day. Almost warm enough to break a sweat at the stops. Late afternoon the breeze came in. You all know it. The wind shift that says it gonna change. Sunday, high of fifty, temp falling all day, and windyer. I went to town to get my Sunday dose of high octaine java and was told the East gate to Yellowstone Park was closed due to snow. I guess we will be seeing more closures like this prior to the regular season closings about November 1st or so. I'm working on posting pix soon. I sure enjoy hearing stories about rides in some of the other places I have visited or worked in throughout the years and hope you will enjoy mine. I even hope to be considered a Rounder sometime when I can take a photo from my bike of the bank time/temp clock. Damn its great to own this BMW.
