Exhaust Wrap

Has any BMW owner reading this thought about using exhaust wrap on the
beemer headers back to the muffler, or has any one done this?

Several have. The results of most posts I've seen conclude that wrap is basically a racing thing and doesn't stand up to the long haul of a street bike. Most people agree that "Jet-Hot Coating" is a better way to go for a street machine, car or bike. Does virtually the same thing, but doesn't ever need to be replaced. IMHO, it looks 100% better anyway.
