Will the new motor and transmission come out in a more touring bike like a GTor RT? Anyone heard any news? I really want this new motor but want more luggage capacity and better weather protection. I don't really want the full weight of the LT model, looking for more sporty handling. What have you heard? :wave

GT - no luggage capacity, GS has far more luggage. Ok weather protection, nothing like RT. Cool Factor...over the top.

I suspect a KGT bike with the new engine will be forthcoming. Don't expect it soon with the KS still fairly new. BMW will milk this for awhile then introduce the KGT for product/line news. Note the 12GS still doesn't have the Adventure yet, though I believe it is around the corner.

Have seen KGT spy photos. Seemed fairly believable, but who knows.
