Hello All-

I have put together a few photos (actually all of the photos I took) while attending the Rally.

It is located at http://www.bradfordbenn.com/beemer/Rally.htm

Feel free to take a look. Also feel free to add to the Graffiti Page (http://www.bradfordbenn.com/graffiti.htm)

Thanks to the volunteers and thanks to the people who helped me after the Beer Tent ride.

-=Brad

Yes, names would be good.

If I saw that sky, I would be gone. Growing up in Ohio taught me that when the sky looks like that, you run for shelter. Preferably in a basement.:eek

At about the impending doom picture was taken I was standing getting a beer, getting ready to go back to my tent to keep it from blowing away. Wonderful pictures, hope everyone is healing fine.

Nice pictures!

You can link them to this forum if you have them online by using the IMG button when you make the post. It makes it easy to put a bunch of pictures up in one message and takes a heck of a lot less time.

I'm thinking of a seminar topic for next year's rally.....

I just wanted to see if this would work; a little off topic, but it is a picture of the bike I took to the Rally :brow

Thanks Dave, pretty cool, plus now I can quickly post my "galleries" here and have it link to there.:clap

I like the way you included the image as part of the tag for the link. Nice!

I think photos add a huge amount to this forum and being able to see them in one place is outstanding.

Would you like an explanation in plainer english of how I did that, or did you figure it out?:brow

I looked at your code. Nicely done.....

But an explanation of the methodology would be cool.

First what I did was using the vB Code I inserted a hyperlink using the http:// button. The hyperlink is where I want the button/image direct the user TO. When it asked for a script prompt, the first question, I placed in the phrase "REPLACEME" feel free to use what ever you would like.

You should end up with a string in your reply that looks like this (I used my home page as a placeholder) abd used changed the bracket format to keep the code from being read. {URL=http://www.bradfordbenn.com/beemer/index.html}REPLACEME{/URL}

I then used the IMG button to link to the image I wanted to display on the forum. It should look something like this {IMG}http://www.bradfordbenn.com/beemer/images/topleft.jpg{/IMG}

I then copy the code for the image and replace the phrase "REPLACEME" with the copy. The end result is a clickable button. Remember I changed the bracket format so it would be ignored

{URL=http://www.bradfordbenn.com/beemer/index.html}{IMG}http://www.bradfordbenn.com/beemer/images/topleft.jpg{/IMG}{/URL}

The code above results in the button and reaction below...

Enjoy. Oh the most import part, use the preview post button

Hey Brad !! Those are some awesome pictures there. I had just left the beer tent and was going in to eat supper when that storm hit. I to wish everyone that was injuried a speedy recovery and hope there is nothing like that at the next rally. By the way. Was the picture you took on the bike the show room floor at South Bend Bmw Dealer? Thanks ....

I thought so. I took a few little things down for them and passed them out at the rally. I was looking for some one to ride down with , but couldn't really find anyone. Thank you for the reply back.

Living in Indiana , we did the same thing when the sky got that dark. Ran for the basement and hide. When I left for the rally we were getting bad storms right and left. I never thought I would ever get out of here with out getting wet. Had 2 days of 70 m.p.h winds and tore our town up a little.
