Last chance Michigan area riders (or anyone else looking for motorcycle fun this Sunday). The March of Dimes ride in West Michigan this year is going from one race track to another. From Berlin Raceway, a 1/2 mile circle track in Marne, over a 60 mile course to the fabulous Grattan Raceway (2 mile kick booty race track). Grand Rapids BMW always sponsors one of the 4 stops on the 60 mile ride.
Join in for $20...there will be lunch served - (donated by Hooters) and music and a bike contest and a silent auction and some door prizes. The lunch was great at the last one I attended and the band was good as well.

On behalf of the entire March of Dimes organization (yes, they have empowered me, El Dookey, to speak for them), I would like to personally thank the four gentlemen from this forum - you know who you are fellows - for kicking in for this Sunday. While it would have been better to have you as riding companions, I will none the less accept your bucks and pesos with happiness and what not.
I have exceeded my moderate goal and because of your generosity I have just updated my webpage to reflect and new and greedier goal!!!

10-4 on the ride report. I am going as Cliffy, Cub Reporter, with camera in hand. Hope it doesn't rain but I will go regardless. I am blown away by the support from people on this forum. My initial goal was to hit $250 but that is long surpassed - last time I looked I was at $480 or something.
Thanks one and all for the support. I also got a great e-mail from someone for whom premature babies are a personal matter. His son was born a little over 2 pounds and "wasn't supposed to make it" - well, his son just turned 25 and seems to be doing just fine!
anyway - thanks to everybody, your generosity has really gotten me fired up over the last couple days. Whooo-hooo!

Paul and I joined over 5,000 Bikers for Babies here in Kansas City last weekend for the March of Dimes. Great Cause. Great people. Glad to hear you are getting lots of support.

I thought according to Paul it was Biker Babes.
