I was cleaning up my 96 1100RT after a weekend ride up the Blue Ridge Parkway and noticed that the rear seat wasn't securely fastened. I have a Corbin seat on the bike.

On inspection, I found that the plastic on the latching mechanism was broken and the latch spring wasn't engaging. Couldn't repair it since some of the pieces were gone so I just did a temporary fix. That's where I need some guidence.

The latch is part of a 10 inch or so plastic cover which fits the conour of the rear tail and extends from the rear seat lock above the taillight to just under the rear seat. It's the plastic piece that is broken. I looked at the parts fisch on A&S Cycles and can't find anything that looks like this part.

Does anyone have any idea what this part number might be or where else I can look? The seat latch on the fische looked nothing like the one on the bike. Miy latch is a brass colored "J" hook which is manipulated by a contoured rod connecting to the seat lock. The fische looked more like a rectangular bracket and I didn't see anything connecting it to a lock.

Thanks for the help!
