I just recently completed my 30,000 mile check up. I've never had a leak on this bike. Know i've noticed a oil leak comming out of the rear seal on the drive shaft. I checked the drain plug and its tight. I pulled of the rear wheel and noticed oil around the seal. Do I need to replace this seal? If so what do i need to do?

If your bike still has warranty it will be repaired for free, however you still need to get it fixed wether it's free or not.
I met a guy from 'down under' who had ignored the little trickle of oil at first.... :cry.Needless to say it cost him $$$ to get a replacement final drive AND a tow from the middle of nowhere to Missoula MT where we met.

Clean thoroughly around the seal and then gently insert something like a toothpick or the end of a zip-tie between the seal and the hub and sweep it around. You just might have crud in there that you can sweep out. A long shot, but cheap.
If the wheel & hub is loose within the final drive, more than just a teeny tiny bit, you won't fix this by replacing the seal. With the bike in neutral, rotate the wheel and listen/feel for roughness. If you have it, you need to replace a bearing (probably the $124 ring gear bearing).
If you have the problem and let it go too long, you'll destroy the pinion bearing which will double the repair cost.
