Two things:
1. where did this happen? What link did you click on?

2. Did you send a note to webmaster@bmwmoa.org?

What scares me is that I actually understand most of that stuff. I think it is a sign of staring at CF for too long....

Come on Knary, it's in the test of the errormessage - the offending URL, that's why I cut and pasted it in. From the members area, attempting to do a renewal - heaven forbid the post even shows my IP address, or it least it used to :evil

OBTW - still broke, I will forward this link to the webmaster, but I thought he spent a lot of time here as well :dunno

There are multiple links on that page. I was hoping for more information as to which you clicked on as the offending page may have been constructed differently depending on which link (which variables were passed). It turns out this isn't the case for the links on the membership page but is for other pages.

If you find a problem, I wouldn't assume that the "webmaster" (a few of us get that e-mail) would happen to find a particular thread. E-mail is checked far more often than the forum.

Either way, thank you for highlighting the problem. It is now fixed.

Thanks Scott, you are definately one talented guy. I had tried 3 different browsers and two PC's, wasn't sure if the problem was on my end at first or not.

I will give it a shot, owe you a beer if we ever get together.

It worked like a champ, I renewed my membership and even saw the credit card transaction hit :thumb

The strange thing was that after I was done with the renewal I couldn't get back into the forum, my PW was hosed, which is the same one for the other side - go figure. I had to disable our anti-spam filter for some reason it was trapping the PW reset notes.

Thanks again.

Nothing is proving more of a headache than the success of anti-spam software.

:nod Yupper, we have been forced to spend a bunch of money on software, appliances and bandwidth, routinely blocking about 30,000 notes a day just for our little domain - it is truly a PIA :banghead
