I posted the following question on the Bushtec trailer forum and received the following response from John Preston, owner of Bushtec.
If someone is interested, it sounds like a great deal for someone wanting a free hitch that would normally run around $400. The Bushtec factory is located in Jacksboro, TN. Too far away for me, and I don't have the new RT yet. Ultimately, I hope someone does it so I can order a hitch when I latch on to one of these new RT's.

Message: As soon as Bushtec can acquire the R1200RT we will complete the feasibility and prototype for this hitch. If there is an owner willing to come to the factory we will provide their hitch at no charge.
