K12RS Problem

My buddy is on the road and has had a problem with the Brake indicator light and the light to it's immediate right. He is not aware of the forum so I am asking for any info that might help. He says brakes work fine but irritiating light is on. He shuts the bike down and it stays out for about a 100 miles then comes on again. He is out in Colorado and heading to meet me Sunday the 7th in Southern IL. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Does he have a burned out brake light bulb? I know GSs will illuminate that little light with the exclamation point when it burns out.

It will also modulate the tail light to serve as a brake light.

He might want to check that.
