Florida West Coast Mechanic

I want to get my R60/7 back on the road and need to have some work on the brakes, clutch and a general tune up. I am not a mechanic and do not wish to become one --so I need to find a good airhead mechanic. I am in the Tampa Bay area. Contacts would be appreciated.

I've had good success with BMW of Tampa Bay. Dwayne is the mechanic who works on my bike and he is diligent and competent.

I forgot the mechanic's name (Larry, maybe?), but there's a guy at RTM Motorcycles on N. Florida Ave that specializes in Airheads. He's highly recommended in the Bay Area. If you call them, they will know who you're talking about.

By all means do your machine a favor and use Steve Kadelak from R.T.M. in Tampa. on N. Florida Ave.
Steve lives for airheads, and U will not find a more thoughtful and caring mechanic anywhere. I have used him for about 6 years for my '82 RS.
U can contact him at 813-265-2307............and remember to ask for BMW Steve as there are two that answer to 'Steve' there.
