Hi eveyrone I just bought a K1200Rs yesterday and now I was wondering what else I should get for it. It already has Ohlins shocks so I wont need those, but what about...

Larger windshield thats still "sporty looking."?

Tires that are touring oriented?

Radar detectors and mounts?

Driving lights?

Thanks!

Since your new scoot is pretty zoomy, I'd look into some Motolights or similar enhancements, so people can see you coming down the road. A radardetector is a handy item to have if your planning to hold on your license for a while :D :D
A big mak tankbag is cool too so you can stow the detector, I-pod snacks and phone. Look at www.hoonhardware.com, www.cyclegadgets.com (great folks to deal with) for some of the parts.

Oh yeah, CONGRATS ON YOU NEW RIDE!! :thumb :thumb

After putting driving lights on this weekend, and already having lots of farkles, allow me to put this as succinctly as possible, get the lights.

Yup, the best accessory I have put on yet. I will try to get a picture of the output tonight, but basically I feel more secure riding at night. I can see further down the road, and I do not over ride my headlight nearly as much as I used to.

Congrats on your choice.
Get some lights, most mount under the fairing by the oil cooler.
Ride it a while before you start fooling with the windshield. A detector will be a good thing. Touring tires?! Bwwaaaahhhhaaaaa.....
Get thee to Vic's K12RS site for more info than you can stand.
