That's right, boys and girls. They will now be showing racing Tuesdays at 3pm (when we are working) and on saturdays and sundays (when we are out riding).
When the network that brought us the "glowing hockey puck" bought Speedvision, somehow I knew it wouldn't be long before they got around to "FOXing" it up... took 'em a couple years, but those FOXing jerks finally wrecked it. :mad
No I won't calm down, and no I won't come in off the ledge. :banghead
Fox sucks.

FOX sucks. SPEED Channel sucks. SpeedVision was really cool. At least OLN is independent of FOX and may pick up some more moto. They will be covering the supermotard AMA series, and have been covering some of the offroad/hare-scrambles stuff - though mostly the atv's. All I watch of 2 wheel tuesday anymore is Bike Week, 'cause I like Dave Despain and Bill Meyers. Then tv goes back to Nick so the rugrat (and I) can watch SpongeBob.

I just wish they would show MotoGP or World Superbike on the same day the race is run. Live would be asking too much.
I like Bikeweek and Ride ON but can't stand the Greg White interuptions on 2 wheel Tuesdays.

You don't like Greg White? My wife and I think he's great but we can't stand Dave Despain. I guess that's the difference between the younger and older generations, huh?

I like both those guys, but I like the woman that hosts American Thunder better.

at least we can agree on Michelle Smith... :evil
I just liked having a block of nothing-but-bike stuff, every tuesday from 7:00 until I was ready to collapse. It never interferes with anything, being on tuesday, and if you feel like going out and meeting new riders there are places in some cities where you know that people will congregate to watch the racing.
Sent Fox an angry email last night, with the help of my good friend Samuel Adams :1drink . We'll show them!
When they first took over Speedvision, they planned to eliminate bike night then but there was a huge outcry and they changed their minds. Wonder if that trick will work twice?

I could tolerate her better if she would keep her mouth shut. Her over dramatized , somewhat hesitant, delivery makes me cringe.

You can certainly tell that Michelle is reading , has not rehearsed very much and is barely able to get her enunciated points across.

It would only be worse if there was no bike programming at all

I like them both but on Bike Week. I don't like the "garage" segment that stretches the show out and doesn't say much.
I guess at 40 I am the older generation, but not in a BMW crowd. That said I still like Dave and Larry Meyers better than Greg.

It would be sad if Fox did remove two wheel tuesday's from viewing pleasures. I myself like "Corbins Ride On" since it is geared towards the big twins.
As far of showing live races on Speedvision I do believe they do or at least Laguna Seca was live I was there sitting on the hill watching the big "Tel a Tron" or what ever you call it. (One Big Picture Screen) Seeing the crashes on curves I couldn't see since I was between turn 4 & 5 on the hill.

Wow I guess I am missing some good stuff not having cable... I would rather clean off bugs from night riding than sit in front of a boob tube.

Really liked TWO WHEEL TUESDAY. Feel cheated by the change to the format. Even if I had watched the racing earlier, I liked the racing repeats. If you were out riding you got a chance to watch them. Like all the emcee's.

Wait for the new programming to take effect. As I understand it, SPEED is only axing the replays, not the live moto programming, nor the tape delayed stuff that is often shown for the first time on Tues. evenings (AMA Formula Xtreme, FIM 125GP, etc.). Look, TWT is in a prime-time viewing spot and, according to SPEED, no one was watching the reruns. If that is the case they'd be stupid to keep running 'em. Also, I think I'm correct in saying they are axing reruns of all kinds, including NASCAR stuff, not just moto reruns.
We'll see how the new lineup works out . . .

They should change the name to NASCAR TV. I miss the old Speedvision, esp. the Lost Drive In on Sat nights.

Regretfully this is true. It use to be great when it was Speedvision but the new owners have turned it into the Bubba Channel. I am not a couch potatoe, but always enjoyed Tuesday nights. I enjoyed both Dave Despain and Greg White.

In the latest issue of Cycle World there is a blurb about a new channel called Wheels. Sounds like it may be more like the original Speedvision.
