...old enough!

Eggzaklie 50 years and one month. Old? nah

Starting my second 250,000 miles on two wheels(with a motor!). Umm, that's some 41% of all miles driven in this lifetime. Simple pleasures.

59 this year, early-middle age. Next year I hit genuine middle age. My SO hopes I behave in a more mature fashion by then.

48. It's certainly not chronology that makes you old. Attitude and actions keep you current on your toes and in the loop:cool: :rocker

29, honest! Started riding BMW's at 27. Still feel it's an old man's bike though as most of my riding friends have kids younger than me. The little woman also has a BMW (R1100R) that she started riding when she was 25.

Bell curve: the 41-50 yr olds win

I wonder how it would look if you had asked how old people were when they bought your their BMW. I'd imagine the most of us aren't in the first year of owning our first BMW.

I got mine for myself on my 25th.

but then that was back in 99 and now i know of a few younger riders on an S...that being said...

27 back in may, was 21 when i got my first bike (a 916), then picked up an S when i turned 23, picked up a new S when i was 25. most of my riding buddies are older, but they also are better riders than most my age so it has aided the development of my skills.

That, I have to admit. It really shows up when we go to the Denny's Restaurant and they let you have the whole box of crayons, but only let me have one to color the place mats with.

Started riding in my early 30's and didn't get interested in Beemers until my late 50's.

I guess that makes me a slow "learner."

Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how popular it remains?
