I am wondering where I could get some riser for the handle bars on my R100/7.

For the last 5 years I have had the stock bars from a 1984 R100 (standard) hanging from the rafters. They have a lot of rise, but I don't know how they differ from the bars you have. If you want them they are yours for a pint of IPA and shipping.

I am not sure if I have the original bars or not. I am looking to get in more of an upright riding position. I feel as if I am leaning over too much. Not like a sport bike but enough to give me a backache after a two hour ride. I have ordered a new seat from corbin, in the hopes that this will help. I know I have the original seat and it is not very comfy. I thought maybe there would be some sort of riser that could replace the current mounting points that are on the bike now. :drink

You could always give Bob's BMW a call. They have what you may be looking for at around 90.00 plus the usual shipping/taxes.
They called Classic Bar-BAX.
