Sorry for what should be a easy question, but how do I remove the rear tail light on my 87 k75s.

THanks

Jeff

Remove the seat. Remove the tail compartment plastic cover. Empty the compartment of all the...stuff...you've got in there. <g>

There are two knurled plastic knobs in the compartment which screw onto studs; the studs emerge from the taillight assembly and pass through the bottom of the bodywork and emerge into the tail compartment. Unscrew the knobs, and the taillight assembly should slide out down and back.

yes you need to remove the assembly to get to the bulb, or you can bust the lens out and change it. Pep boys sells taillight tape if you go that route.

Thanks
