I thought there might be some folks out there who new Dan, so I am posting this sad news. Dan Rodriquez of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, long time BMW rider, and extemely nice person, died last Sunday after a motorcycle accident. I don't have full details, but Dan was visiting family in Long Island, NY, when he went for a short ride on someone's 2003 Harley Davidson. He lost control and hit a telephone pole. His funeral will be in Long Island. There will be a special memorial service at the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church on Tuesday at 2pm.
Twin Valley Riders, the local BMW club, will greatly miss Dan, his smile, his friendship, and his vast knowledge of all the best rides in our area.
