I have a 1988 R100RS. THis is a monolever bike, and is fitted, stock, with K75 forks. I just rebuilt the front end, and installed new fairing fork-booties; these are the rubber pieces that seal the froks to the fairing, and flex with the movement of the forks.

I can't keep the booties seated on the fairing. I've had RS bikes before, and never had this problem. They are installed correctly, right/right, etc, with the drain hole aft, and down.

Any eye-deers?

Did you use any kind of glue? I used black 3M weatherstrip adhesive around the upper side/lip only and they have stayed in place so far, about a year.

The factory service manual says they have to be glued, and that's how the bike came from the factory.
