replacing key on a R90/6

my key broke on my 74 R90/6, any suggestions on how to replace it? thanks greg

If the key is broken inside the slot, the easiest, best course of action would be to tryto locate a used lock combo on e-bay or ibmwr. I have good luck securing used parts from Re-psycle in Lithopolis Ohio, when you can get through on the phone. There is also an operation called airhead salvage that you could link to from the airhead beemer club's web page. Many of the advertisers on Owners News still trade in older parts, but they are pricey.

If the key is not broken in the slot, you MIGHT be able to get a duplicate made, but you'd probably have to supply your own blank.
