I don't think that my 2002 is reporting accurately. I had the battery changed about a month ago. Initially it took a couple of tanks of gas before the mileage made any sense at all. Now it appears that the average mpg is inaccurate. The miles remaining looks pretty good but the avg. mpg seems off by 5 mpg or so. Is this normal? Will it get up to speed in the future? HELP.

The MPG function is adjustable. If the procedure isn't here on this site (someone help if it is) you can find it on the K1200LT.net site in the HOW section. Do a search on computer and mpg and that sholul bring it up. If not, send me a PM and I'll try and help.

Go to http://www.k1200lt.net/ under forums go to Hall of Wisdom. You will find index for just about all of your questions. The BC MPG function is discussed there ( in index II under E. Troubleshooting, (a) BC ) with a reasonably easy cal procedure. Good luck. :thumb

When you get to the site main page (by clicking link on previous post) go along the left side. Just below the login button is a "register" button. Register and you should have access to what I think you will find is a wealth of info and good will. :D
