..that fits over the pin that goes into the seat lock? How about a part number? I could wait on hold at Bob's for a couple of hours, but being frugal, I thought someone in the assembled multitudes here might know. I have two seats, and don't want to keep prying the rubber thingy off one to put on the other.

How about a bike model identification? Have you checked the exploded views at Max BMW (http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/fiche.asp)? The part numbers are only the last few digits but the views work well.
