what are the default turns out for the BAAS screw for an R1150R anyone know?
have heard both 2 and 1.5 turns which is correct?

One other question...when using the twinmax, how far do you go, can you go the balance one side or the other? I can get one small segment off at mac setting. But winder if I should go further? It seems to want a good full turn it make any difference!

Which side you adjust depends on if the RPM is high or low, should be 1100 RPM, give or take a few. Engine should be at operating temp and make sure the idle increase/choke is off and that each throttle body is at its idle stop.

This is the way I do it. If it is low then you want to open the BAAS on the side with more vacuum, opposite if it is high leading to closing the side with less vaccum. If it is within range, then you could open one a little and close the other. The main thing is to adjust the idle and balance them out.

Never used a twin max, spec is 5 millibars or less. I'd suggest getting a repair manual if you don't have one.
