Browsing over at e-Bay this evening and came across a few books for sale that might be of interest to some of our brethren here on the Forum:

1. The Best of Sturgis (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4548338481&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)

2. The Art of The Chopper Motorcycle (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4549395691&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)

3. CHOPPERS - Heavy Metal Art (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4549412297&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)

Not for everyone, perhaps, but the prices look decent and the seller in Minnesota appears to have a good reputation on e-Bay.

Go for it? :type :wave

{Addendum to Forum Ethics Commissioner:- I certify that I have no personal interest, financial or otherwise, in Minnesota bookseller mentioned herein, their families, their heirs, agents, contractors, lien holders, delegates, proctors, procurators, stewards, executors, bounty hunters...whatever. I'm just an e-Bay book browser and thought I'd pass on the information.} :blah

i might be interested. if youve got any titanium mods, that raises my level of interest. if youve had the car on a dyno, i'm interested in the hp and torque at the wheel.

lastly, please describe the hooker. age, height, weight, specialty skills... the usual stuff.

Titanium mods? It's all about the carbon fiber.

Does the hooker come with any implied warranty? Who pays shipping?

i figured the hooker could drive the car... or just bounce from truck stop to truck stop and make it across the country. that always worked for me.

I was there, sat on the curb waiting. All I got was car after car stopping to offer hot titanium parts. Still no carbon fiber. Dang.

The Hookers are four-tube, super-comp. There is no titanium in the car and it has never been on the dyno. The cam is a Crane "cheater" hi-po hydraulic unit. the car has Sig Erson roller-rockers, ss valves/aluminum retainers, original 1967 Cobra intake with a new 600 cfm Holley and oval Cobra air cleaner. It also has export brace, Monti-Carlo bar, 10,000 rpm flex-a-Lite ss fan, Boss 302 hi volume oil pump/drive, and a 3 row radiator.
The interior is 'pony' with console, 14 inch "Personal" steering wheel, S-W 97" series gauges in a 1966 round instrument cluster and Shelby tach/oil guage mount in the center dash.
The front susoension is Global-West with 1 3/4 inch dropped upper arm, 1 1/8 in Quickor stabalizer ar, Koni and Kelsey-Hayes.
The rear is Koni, Traction-Master weld on under rides with 3/4 in Quickor bar and a 3/25 gear.
This car does not understeer!
Let me know.

No, but I am looking for a used military HUMVEE with a Kevlar rear cover and a 50 cal. gun mount on top. That would be nice for cruising the bad side of town.
