Not normally a television watcher, I got into this one during a fit of boredom, and now I'm hooked. I am also worn out after every episode!

Two episodes left in this season, and I am wondering will the missile --

- Be shot down?

- Fail to function properly?

- Actually detonate?

:dunno

We watched part of the second season while my wife was pregnant, but it was too stressful! Had to give it up and never went back.

i think the missile will be voted off the show by paula abdul. it will then have it's hangar bay totally remodelled for free, and it's mobile launcher will be re-done on "pimp my ride." and then the nanny will rehabilitate it, and it will take a weather satellite into orbit at some future date.

This is the best season yet. The first was very good the second great and the third wasn't so good. They came back strong, very strong this year.

So we got the missle on it's way, the Chinese really pissed and think Jack led the raid on the consul, Marwan captured, Paul dead, nuclear meltdowns, Tony and Michelle getting back together, this is like a good, make that an excellent novel on tv.

Never has there been a show that has left me clamoring for more like 24.

(most of last season was filmed up here north of Los Angeles where we live...)

What's going to happen to the missle? It's going to go off course and land in an unpopulated zone or the ocean. Maybe not even go off.

BUT- something else will pop up for sure, before the end of the season.

That show makes me want to puke. Why don't they ever get stuck in traffic? What, they teleport? I saw the episode where the Sec'y and his daughter practically choke on gas, and then they're back at the office, like they wouldn't be hospitalized and hooked up for a night. And Jack is never held up at the scene of the accident or any place else he makes a mess, no one kills three hours filling out forms or waiting on hold. I'd love to see next week's show open with "This evening's program is canceled while Jack waits for a one hour Jiffy Lube oil change on the SUV."

The only television show currently holding my attention is "Desperate Housewives". Now there is some missiles waiting to happen..... :thumb

is a cartoon ish take on the "spy show" genre.

As with movies you have to give a little to get a lot. In this case you give up traffic, paperwork etc. If you take it too seriously you don't get it.

It's seems to be a few years after David Palmers term ended so I would guess the paperwork took them that long from last years crisis...

this made me laugh out loud. this would be a great saturday night live skit. or one where jack goes to the restroom, in real time, and everyone is waiting in the hall for him, and he gets stage fright, and it takes forever. or where he sits and eats a bowl of cereal, and holds the box reading the back, for 7 or 8 minutes. hopefully the creators will film stuff like that and when the DVDs come out, put it in the "extras" section, and have a tongue-in-cheek analysis of why they had to cut those segments. the oil change would be amazing.

I like it. It's drama gone to seed. Like CSI:Miami, but I like that one too. My wife hates it, but much like the previous thread it's a bit of my time wasting. As far as missle goes. Edgar will save the day and somehow figure out a way to blow it up.

Zoe hit on Jack?

She has always been sucking up to him, doesn't surprise me. But I missed it!

Zoe hit on Jack?

I must agree, Zoe has had a thing for Jack for the last few seasons....

I also get so wound up that it takes me a while to get to sleep....

Does anyone know where he gets his cell phone batteries?? I mean 24 hours of almost non-stop usage and never even plugged into the car cord!

Seasons? I though it's only been, what, two days? Going on three? She'd better move faster, before you know it, he'll be married, have kids, they'll be gone to college, and he'll need a second job to pay the expenses. Since all that will happen in days 4 and 5, he won't have time for an affair with Zoe.

I still think the second season should have been 48, the third 72... etc. But nope I don't watch it.
