Give us a little more info
Do you ABS dash light stay on?
Did you dump the bike?
Have you charge up your battery? If you have a low battery the ABS is the first thing to go.

I assume you mean the ABS doesn't pass its initial self-test on startup, and the ABS dash lighs flash alternately.
a) Most common cause of initialization failure is a weak battery. One of the ABS's tests is of system (battery) voltage. If the voltage is too low, or the starter's current draw brings the voltage down only a little bit, the ABS won't pass this test.
b) Also check the sensor gaps front and rear: the space between the wheel sensors and the toothed wheels. There should be a feeler gauge in the tool kit for this purpose. If the gap is too wide or too narrow, the ABS won't intialize.
c) Check the wiring to the sensors. You've been offroad; the wiring may have been damaged in some way. You might pull the tank to make sure that some undertank connector in the ABS wiring hasn't come apart.
Beyond this, it'd be useful to read the ABS fault codes, which can indicate where the problem is. The tech pages at http://ibmwr.org/ have, I think, some articles on the ABS system, including reading fault codes.
If that doesn't help...I'd go to the dealer.
