My wife was late term pregnant in August in an unairconditioned house. Yikes. Needless to say we airconditioned the house before pregnancy #2. I guess it was poor planning on our part to concieve at Christmas. Who knew?

and we had record heat here in Minnesota. Our 3rd child was due in September. It was like living with a wounded alligator.

We lived in a somewhat small, 3 bedroom rambler at the time. We had a large window unit air conditioner placed in the living room, that when run with a couple of fans, kept the house comfortable.

But not comfortable enough for Pregnant-zilla! We bought a 2nd window unit, and installed it in our bedroom. Needless to say, I slept in full length flannel pajamas all summer. She would turn the A/C on low, pull down the shades, and leave the door shoot on our bedroom. It was like a walk-in cooler.

You're lucky that she's having that child when she is, Mark.
