Is anyone going to Birmingham, Al to the Barber Motorsports Park next weekend for the AMA Superbike races? My son, Dr. Desmo, riding the ex-Sue Diaz Ducati ST-2 and I, riding the K100LT will be there for the weekend. We have gone the last two years and really enjoyed ourselves. The Barber Museum is incredible, and the entire Barber facility is top notch. Hopefully, Dr. Desmo can once again sneak me into to the "special" Ducati owners tent where they offer espresso, fresh cookies, Ducati Corse bottled waters, and other refreshments gratis while sitting trackside at the high banked 180 near the end of the course. Nothing like hearing a full race Ducati 999 at full throttle to make the weekend Special. :thumb
PS: They know how to Barbeque in Birmingham, also and we are looking forward to a plate of pulled pork at Jim 'n Nicks once again!
