Anybody had any experience replacing a fuel distributor? I cracked the line at the fuel injector while replacing my trottle cables.

It appears that I have to remove the air box to get to it which entails remove the rear sub frame. Or remove the ABS pump which is less complicated but would require removing the brake lines and not sure what effects that would have.
:dunno

Any tips, suggestions would be appreciated. Its on a 95 1100GS.

I gottta get it runnin for the Georgia Rally!

Thanks
Kevin

I'm putting my 1150 back together after a spline lube - it looks like you can get the distributor and lines out from in front of the air box without too much disassembly... they're clipped into the front of the box from the top down (into the grommets). If anything you're probably going to have to lift the battery tray.

Take this for what it's worth, I'm still working on my first cup of coffee :brow

BTW, you can get a lot of movement out of the battery tray without disconnecting your brake lines from the ABS pump - you just have to pull the battery to get at the rear nuts and then pull the bolts from either side of the ABS pump itself.

On mine, there's a brown ground wire attached to the tray assembly on the left side which needed to be disconnected as well (it's a short wire and limited the movement).
