Vasaline. is the wonder oil. A (metric) 0.75 dollop in the differential keeps the gears happy, A tad evenly distrubuted on the alternator cover staves off oxidation. A thin film on my helmet visor keeps bugs from sticking (and ads a misty allure to everything I see), It keeps the tire sidewalls black, the seat supple, the electricty hot and the entire bike cool. When I am done riding I slick back my hair with vasaline, and a teaspoon each day with homoginized milk facilitates more expediency than a bowl of grape nuts. Best of all it is made right here in the USA! If anyone fabricates a comment on that I bear a striking resembelence to Ned Beatty it is off to the doghouse. That sort of exaggeration can not be tolerated. :D

You mean in the tires?
I use my homemade manometer along with a converted bug sprayer from Ace Hardware to pump the tires full of Castrol 20w50. Do you think I should go to Mobil 1 or will it cause the valve caps to leak?

Olive oil to do veggies and meats, and nothing but good old butter for eggs.
Fried potatoes do not taste right unless cooked in bacon grease or lard. Sorry folks, but it makes a difference.
However if BG is in the house, it is butter or olive oil.

Bacon grease....high density, and VERY slippery. If we claim to use it for spline lube, we could create a whole new demand for the stuff. Forget moly paste, hog fat is where it's at.

Don't forget the BEST use for bacon grease... making piles of dog turds disappear from your lawn. Just pour a little bacon grease on the pile and within 24 hours, it will have disappeared, as if by magic!
