Need help locating a part

Anyone know where I can get the cable that keeps the rear view mirrors from kissing the pavement if they get knocked off? I've seen them somewhere...... :dunno

Or, you could make your own. Last version I heard of used fishing line leaders.

I would say getting a 30 or 40 pound test wire leader from the local fishing department would do the same thing. Just have to loop it around the screw you attach it to.

Wish I could think of some witty reason I hadn't thought of that! Fishin' line.... Guess I was tryin' to over-engineer something! :banghead

see if you can find the wire leaders, they will hold up better than just monofilament line. Remember the will just lay there until needed, and you dont want the line to be brittle and snap.
