Howdy,

Need a little help. I just changed the throttle cable on my 95 GS and can't seem to get the throttle to spring back. I also changed the choke cable while I was in there and it seems to be OK.

Any suggestions on where to start with the cable adjusters, should I lub the pulleys on the throttle bodies?

If I can ever get it to spring back I will then sync the TB.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Check the hand guards and make sure they're not rubbing on the end of the twistgrip. Also, check to make sure the switch cluster isn't a bit too far down the bar. It can cause the end of the inside of the twistgrip to hang up on the end of the bar.

Thanks! I think it was in the twistgrip, I greased the barrel at the end of the cable and adjusted the switch housing and its better.

Now I have a fuel line leak at the injector on the left TB. I guess I did something when I put the new cable on, but its leaking where the line connects to the boot.

Oh Well, more time in the garage!

Thanks again KBasa.
