I walked down behind the house to the lake this morning, and proceeded to catch 20 Largemouth bass in the range of 10 inches to 15 inches, and one crappie in the 15 inch range. When I got tired of that, I took a nice long ride on the RRS.
Later I cleaned up a spot at the lake to make fishing more accessable, and caught 4 more bass.
Looks like a campfire later on and maybe some more fishing. Wonder what the poor folks are doing today?

I agree life is good. Today I rode the snowmobile and the bike. Not at the same time of course. The Gunflint Trail heading northwest out of Grand Marais, MN still has about three feet of snow. I got the sled home and put some gas stabilizer in the tank and started up the bike for the first time since the second week of Oct. It really took me a long time to get her started. But once started she ran as smooth as a babies bottom. Oh is sure did feel good to be out again. I only did about 20 miles and had to cruise back home because I thought I was going to break my teeth from all the chattering. The wind off the big glacier (A.K.A Lake Superior) had the big flag at Perkins standing straight at attention. I did a quick run by the bank to find out it was 36 degrees at nine PM. I think it is time to invest in some electric clothing.
Yes today was a good day.

not nearly as carefully as one would a 5 pounder on 6 pound test line. I would say they are more acoustic than electric.

well some lakes have a minimum length limit, sounds strange, eh?

My wife asks me this question everytime I come home from fishing.. Her standard question is: What fish? or if I show her a picture of said fish she'll ask me what store I stopped at to purchase it.
So , What fish
