View Full Version : Throttlemeisters & 1200RS Heated Grips w/Euro switch

My heated grips were pretty well shot, so I thought I would replace them and, while I was at it, add a set of Throttlemeisters. My bike has the Euro switch.

I'm having some problems installing the Throttlemeisters as I am concerned about pinching/cutting the heating element wires within the grips. It's extremely tight in there and I don't want to ruin the new set of grips.

Anybody had experience with this issue? Tips? Recommendations?

Marker Machine used to offer a special set of machined anchors for the T-meister that would work with heated grips. I had one of the first sets of those anchors on my '98 RS, and they worked great. Talk to Dell at MM.

Thanks for the tip. Got a contact number for Marker Machine or at least a city/state location? :thumb
