I was anticipating more difficulty in removing the old speakers and sizing new ones for the CLC ... but surprisingly it was easy. Pop off the mirrors and remove two screws holding the speaker fascia that are located there, one more screw on each side underneath the fascia, and two up top below the windshield and the fascia slides right off. Underneath, a pair of common 4" round speakers are easy to remove and replace with better units. The factory units have no separate tweeter and replacing them with a pair of quality coaxials makes a huge sound difference.
