22L Top Case Lock

Greetings all,

Well, I have had the bike on the road 'legally' for a week now and it is running well. Mrs. JC got brave and went for a jaunt to her son's baseball game. She didn't like the feeling without a backrest, so I ned to put the top case back on.

Unfortunately, When I went to put the top case on I can't seem to get it unlocked. Here are some details:

1. I can get the key to make the 1/4 turn.
2. No mater which postion it's in, the lid won't open.

Does the key just unlock with the 1/4 turn?
or is it a pushbutton to release catch?

I looked at the parts fiche to get an idea of what's there but can't figure it out.

Any thoughts? :dunno

I received a couple e-mails explaining how it should work. Seems when I brought the bike home the pushbutton mechanism got some salt and rain in it and once I got it figured out, it now works! :thumb
