Solo seat on a /6???

Hey y'all-

Anyone out there ever mount an early style seat (tractor style) on a /6? I am trying to find pictures, ideas, etc. Thanks!

I've seen it done with a /5, just bolted to the open end of the main backbone of the frame under the tank. Mostly seen it done with the /2 style seats, but those aren't really very comfortable for any distance. May be other options for that style seat.

Those seats were called Teutonic 1000 mile seats. Several other companies made knockoff versions. May find one on ebay or put notice in BMWON under things wanted.

The photo has a police solo seat, but if you scroll through the galleries you will see cafe racers with "tractor" seats, and cowled seats and R100RS seats and other fun stuff :p
