Welcome to the forum GermanBoxer. You have landed in the new member area for your introduction which is a good thing. With the ad for your shop, here on the forum, your post falls into something that would actually fall into our MEMBER OPPORTUNITIES (http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=56) section. I'm going to move your post over there for you. Welcome to the forum. Gary

I had a black '99 R1100S nicknamed "The Bat Cycle!" It was a good bike and a very capable sports touring bike! I eventually traded it for a new 2002 R1150RT - for a more comfortable ride for my wife.
By the way, I lived in Aachen, Germany in 2004-2005. Charming old Roman city!

Hi JJ, I worked in Washington D.C. from 1976-1978 for the German Embassy. I lived in Gaithersburg, MD. My first bike was a Kawasaki Z400 for few months. Than I saw this sparkling white R100RS and since then I am lucky with boxer powered bikes. My little wife rides her own flat maked F650CS for a couple of years. She is five feet tall or so and has its problems with larger bikes.

It is a German site of course in German language. But you may watch lots of pictures. I am a member since 1999 and meawhile 2nd chairmen of the club.
Most friends owe GS R1100, R1150 and R1200
