the post office screwed up and i received my ON today (3/31) much to my amazement.
DANG! Neal Peart and the biggest, baddest drum kit on the cover of my favorite monthly magazine???? how could things possibly get any better? (julie claire knew i would need oxygen when she pulled the ON out of the mailbox.) whoooo-hoooo. Great cover Sandy. Enjoyed the interview. Kudos all around.

Now wouldn't it just make your day if Neil, Alex, and Geddy showed up at the National, just to hang out with the likes of us?

Alex rides a Harley, and Geddy, as far as I know, doesn't ride at all. Which doesn't mean it couldn't happen.
That would definitely be cool, but it would be even cooler if they showed up to play.

if you want to see more pics of neal at work, try this link to photos taken by his wife:

once you get there click on "fine art portfolios" and then "rhytmn and light"

No, but I'm not sure how many "farm equipment" jokes Alex would be willing to put up with before he'd say adios. :D
(And speaking as a guitarist who worshipped Alex during my formative years, I'd hate to see that happen. :cry )
