Just wanted to say hello to the K-bike folks.
I have been watching this forum for several months and finally decided to pull the trigger on a membership.
Now I can post like a REAL BMW owner, not just someone who borrowed a co-worker's logon!

The whole name thing is rare. So rare that one of my favorite (although very corny) pick-up lines was "hello, my name is Cliff, why don't you drop over some time?" As bad as it sounds, it works!!
Pictures will be coming!!

Members,
I feel the point of my little story about "hi my name is Cliff, why don't you drop over some time" is being devalued! It is not appropriate to compare juvenile "nail me on the wall, and call me Art" style puns to a much used and occasionally successful pick-up line.
If this thread must continue (and I see no reason why not), let’s get some of your old "tried and true" ice-breaking lines out there..!! Heck, we all might benefit from the sharing of critical ideas.
Otherwise, let us all rise above the mediocrity that permeates our humanity and focus our efforts on the proliferation of cycling as the single best substitute for intimate relations with others!

Every time I try that one someone eventually tells them that my name is really Brad. :stick

So, after a killer opening line, we have some drinks and conversation. Then she says, "you do know, I'm not sleeping with you!" Smiling I reply, "that's alright, I'm just killing time waiting for the pretty girls" ! :thumb
