K1200GT vs R1200RT

What do you guys think? I am a solo rider who makes about 8-12k per year rallying and frequent commuting. I want reliable fun; my nearest dealer is 2-3 years away. Thoughts from those who have ridden both?

If you want a reliable, proven ride, get a great deal on an '04 RT or GT. Other than that, go to a dealer and ride both of them. Pick the one YOU like best. :dunno

My personal choice would be the K1200GT. I already have one. I avoid the first year models with new engines/chasis.
If you really want a K1200RT, then wait another year. Still no guarantee.
