I'm proud to announce that May will be here soon and it will once again be time for the Boxerworks Forum Decidedly Unorganised Rally. This is a nifty gathering of online riding buddies who know each other from the forum at www.boxerworks.com, a primarily Airhead-oriented site run by the shop of the same name.
We gather twice a year in the garage and yard of one of our forum contributors and it's a heluva hoot! Twenty seems to be our approximate max attendance so far but there's room for more. It's mostly Airheads that come but you're welcome to bring any bike (although we give you a good-natured ribbing about it). This about as no-frills as rallies get- no registration (but we would like a headcount in case somebody decides to be camp cook), no fees, no sanctioning by any organisation, just show up and have a good time. Our host, a really nice guy named Ken, lives about five miles off the Talimena Scenic Drive and this area becomes the setting for some great riding. This year we have an attendee who will be flying down early from Seattle to brew up some special beers just for the rally.
Check out the official announcement HERE! (http://www.boxerworks.com/phorum/read.php?f=1&i=110667&t=110667)
This is our second May rally and we had one last October as well. This one promises to be the best yet!
