Here's the invite:

With so many members asking us to expand our Annual IBA Daytona Party, we
decided something more extensive was needed. So besides our March Daytona
Party (details will be posted on the party in mid-October), the Iron Butt
Association is pleased to announce a new addition to our calendar, the
Inaugural IBA National Ride to Meet on the weekend of May 13-15, 2005 in
centrally located Omaha, Nebraska!

If you like the Daytona party, you're gonna love this new event. There
will be lots of time for socializing, kicking tires and telling lies as well
as informational seminars and some great food! So if you have need an excuse
for a ride - and what a better excuse than to meet like-minded, serious
long-distance riders - this is the event to attend!

For more information, visit:

http://www.ironbutt.com/NatMeet/default.cfm

Space is limited and this is an Iron Butt Association member event. Each
member may bring a guest, but the primary registration must be made by an
IBA member.

If you do NOT know your IBA number, no worries. In the appropriate space,
put '00000' and we'll look up your number and forward it to you. At that
time, please do take note of it as future events will require you to have
your IBA number available. Your spouse/pillion does not need to be a member
but you must register him/her at the time you sign up.

You'll want to be certain that you are able to attend prior to registering
as there is a cancellation fee attached. To keep our costs low, we are
requiring payment via PayPal. We understand this might cause some
difficulties with some riders, but we need to keep this event on target and
on a strict budget. If you decide to register, when PayPal confirms your
payment, please print that page and bring it with you to Omaha as backup.

We're looking forward to seeing you in Omaha!

Work seems to be conspiring left and right. I just found out that my boss' boss wants us to work on reconfiguring our building through the weekend of the Blitz to Branson.

Now that is unacceptable!

But we will try to carry on without you - just this once.

AND, if you can slip away . . .
