It doesn't exist.

BMW considers the bulletins proprietary information and does not share them with anyone but its dealers.

I've never understood why manufacturers are so afraid to let tech bulletins out. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, they may be willing to share the information with you. Didn't work for me with BMW, but its worth asking. I have got some for other vehicles that way.

I know there have been some avilable on the net, but I can't recall where I found them. It was certainly not an official BMW site. When I came across them I downloaded and saved all that were pertenent to my RS. Some are relevant to the RT as well, but nothing as new as the 1150.

Alldata is the common site for car service bulletins. Not BMW, of course.

BMW ought to learn from Mercedes on this one

Significant portion of BMW is owned by Quandt family members, and they're apparently particularly worred about personal liability.

Of course not; BMW Service Bulletins contain National Security Secrets. Pardon the sarcasm.

BMW also does not have dealer listings that you can download into your PDA. Wouldn't that be an idea.

BMW also does not have dealer GPS coordinates that you can download into your GPS. Wouldn't that be a concept. Imagine knowing where the next BMW dealer is along your travels taken with a motorcycle meant for travel.

Thanks Kent. I filled out the on-line form and requested the dealer listing. We'll see what they end up providing.

Problem is, that is the BMW NA site, and I'll get dealer listings for the US. Not what I'm after exactly.

The International BMW Motorrad Web Site (http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/com_main.html) is the one that should have all that information, which in part, they do. It provides links to the continents and then countries where you can click on BMW Motorrad Partner and get the names and addresses of the dealers in that country.

I've got Austria, Germany and Switzerland all entered in my Palm (as well as GPS dealer coordinates for my Garmin), but that was all self generated and who knows how outdated three years later.

BMW Motorrad should have all that info on their International web site for download. I've been saying this for years. Time to get with the times, BMW.

Try http://gmccurdy1.home.att.net/Dealers/Dealers.html for BMW dealers for your GPS.

Yes, a good privately run site due to the efforts of two individuals, but is it always up-to-date?

Loraz, but I need them for Italy and France as well.

Do you know how time consuming it is to determine the coordinates from the on site BMW map and MapSource? This is something BMW should do, after all, its in their dealers interest...and ours. If they can list the address, web site, e-mail and a map for each dealer, surely they can list GPS coordinates.

Guess I need software to get them, it is too snowy and cold to ride (mainly snowy) and I would have nothing else to do but dream of riding and finding the coordinates on my own. Who knows, maybe if I packaged them nicely and added a roundel and a very high price tag, I could sell them to BMW :lol3
