when you pass a driveway and see a "shovel pattern" like this one, then you know you have found the home of a rounder.
took this shot and the two following with my phone camera. did not really want one, but all the new models that will work in digital and analog locations have cameras in them (according to my verizon sales professional). you can't see the image in the viewfinder when you are outside (at least this blind old dude couldn't) so you kinda snap and pray.

here is the driveway at el manse de dookey as i prepared for my escape.

when i took this picture i could clearly see wisconsin in the background, but my phone-cam let me down. this is looking out over lake michigan from the good side to the bad side. if you squint then maybe you can see the land of cheese.

looking east now. in the background is a sand dune normally populated by kids running up and down before they cool off in the waters of gitcheegoomie (?). funny, no one was swimming yesterday in spite of the very reasonable temp of 44 degrees. what a bunch of babies.

Hey Cliffy, glad you got out. On Saturday I said piss on it and rode about a quarter mile in the snow to get to the roads, and another quarter mile of half snow. I figured if I took it easy, It would be ok. I laid off the crack pipe and made it fine.
