I'm working on a second edition of one of my skills books, and I could use some high resolution photos of crashed motorcycles, with permission to use in the book.
Naturally, I don't have any budget for this, but would give photo credits.

Voni,
Thanks. Now, how about something with a bigger bike, say wrapped around a tree?
pmdave
Don't have any of those.
Thank goodness!

I have quite a few. Here's an example. PM me if you want to see them all.

They are digital pics about 2+ MB. Don't know if that if high enough res.

From the looks of it, I'd say the conversion was a dismal failure! :laugh

Here's a couple from the R1150R that I wiped a few years ago...
too fast on a sharp uphill right-hand curve, found some sand (or something), and the rear tire slipped out sideways. Started to lowside, the tire caught, and we highsided instead.
Stuff gets expensive pretty fast...

This happened on Rt50 in Utah. It was a sudden sand storm with zero visibly. The car was blown into our lane. The damage on the right side of the car was caused by the right cylinder of my R1200ST (the cylinder was broken off the bike) . My friend on the LT is now a paraplegic .

This by far is the most disturbing photo posted. Very sad news about your buddy. How long ago did it happen?
My best to him and the family.

It was May 28 2010. We were on our way to Miller Motorsport Park for the World Superbike race.

I rode from So. Lake Tahoe, California, to Utah in one long day on this road. I loved it, considering it was mostly straight. But it was beautiful. Your story has really made me sad to hear this. Again, my best wishes to you all.

This may not be of the quality needed. But this is from the crash me and Mrs. 2beers went through a couple years ago. All of the statistics are here. Under 10 miles from home, hit a Suburban that turned left in front of us and drive claimed he never seen us. Cass and I are fine now though we know when its going to rain.....

Was curious as to the title of this thread.
Seeing it's for something positive is a big plus. :brow
Seeing the photos here... I won't be back.
Sorry to read/hear about the LT rider.
Thanks for the works you do Mr. Hough.
