'02 f650gs dakar horn mount

Hi,
Anyone have any (Polite) suggestions as to where I can mount a replacement horn on the bike? i'm trying to find a compromise between, keeping it from getting clogged with mud etc. and being set up so it's heard to maximum effect- the original mounting position seems to muffle the sound considerably and I'm trying to find a practical alternative.

i got rid of the stock horn and replaced it with a much louder stebel horn. i mounted the stebel to the right side crash bar, but prior to getting the crash bars i mounted it to the right side top frame bolt behind the front wheel.
