There is a wonderful couple of shops in the area. Pipe World in the La Fontera Shopping area just off IH35 south (my favorite) and Hero's and Legacy in the Arboretum shopping area on the south bound side of US183 near Loop 360.

Both are very good as far as selection and quality.

Ruta Maya is a coffee house with a cigar shop inside. it's south congress just north of 290 at penn field. grab a cigar there, then enjoy the outdoor patio at Opal Devines just around the corner.
there is also Halcyon on 4th and Lavaca. Not much more than a walk in humidor.
