Whats the hot set up here - i want a high fender on my 89 GS - so whats the deal - what fender should i be looking for - any old dirt bike fender - a new one from BMW Dealer - have a part number? - whats the best way to mount it - - any drilling & tapping? - help me out - give me the scoop please - thanks - t

You can buy aftermarket (cheaper),and fit yourself,no biggie!!!.
Just have to drill a few holes in new "plastic" high fender,buy some metric fastners (bolts) and put it on.

Try http://www.acerbis.com/p149_universal/167660.html or any dirt bike supplier,they carry universal plastic front fenders.

If you do choose to replace your low fender for a high fender,I would be interested in buying your "low fender". Thanks
