Im thinkingabout taking route 100 from Jasper to Daytona rather than i75 to Ocala. Is this a good bike route?

It's ok. Just another route to get you to Daytona.

Just curious if its a good route. Sometimes routes don't pan out like they do on a map.

If you take back roads and avoid the Interstates through Georgia you will most likely avoid the check points being set up to stop/check all motorcycles.

I've ridden it several times, coming and going. I can't remember any thing really standing out. I think the last time I ran it, I noticed that some bike camput places had opened up and they appeared to be full of bikers. Those were in Starke and Palatka area. So those folks may never have evened made it to Daytona. It just shows how far bike week had spread out to the northwest from Daytona.
